There came a point around page that I felt sure Pattou had forgotten to write several pages. There she meets the firr one-eyed sorcerer, who’s been involved in her father’s murder and in assorted attempts on her life. Edith Pattou is an exceptional writer. I mean we’ve been waiting for it and then we can’t get enough. Maybe that was not to smart to give all that information out. There is a silly coffee joke early in the book, that Pattou refuses to let drop; also, a reference to chocolate in a mythical early Ireland.
